Article Contribution: Submit an Article to Water Today Magazine

Water Today Magazine invites experts, professionals, researchers, and enthusiasts in the water sector to contribute articles. By submitting your work, you can share your knowledge, insights, and innovations with a broad audience interested in water management, conservation, and sustainability.

Guidelines for Submitting an article

The magazine has an editorial calendar with the month issue and titles. Interested authors and contributors can refer and email it to, The Editor editor@watertoday.org or info@watertoday.org by sending an abstract. 


Water Today Magazine covers a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:

·  Water management and conservation techniques

·  Technological advancements in water treatment and purification

·  Case studies of successful water projects

·  Policy and regulatory issues in the water sector

·  Environmental impacts and sustainability practices

·  Innovations in water recycling and reuse

·  Community-led water conservation initiatives

Submission Requirements

  1. Length: Articles should typically be between 2,500 to 4,000 words, depending on the type and complexity of the topic.
  2. Format: Submissions should be in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
  3.  Structure: Include a title, author’s name and affiliation, abstract (for research articles), introduction, main content, conclusion, and author profile with headshot
  4. Images and Graphics: High-resolution images, graphs, and charts in .jpg or .pdf formats are encouraged to support the content. Please include captions and credit sources where applicable.
  5. About the Author Information: A short profile of the author/s, with headshots and email is mandatory 

    Review and Publication

    1. Review Process: All submitted articles undergo a review process by the editorial team to ensure relevance, accuracy, and quality. You may be asked to make revisions based on feedback.
    2. Notification: Authors will be notified of the acceptance or rejection of their submission within a specified period (typically 4-6 weeks).
    3. Publication: Accepted articles will be scheduled for publication in an upcoming issue of Water Today Magazine. Authors will receive a complimentary copy of the issue in which their article appears. International authors get access to the online digital version of the magazine.
